Michelle Brown-Daly — Senior Vice President of Quality and DE&I
Michelle holds a Bachelor of Science in Environmental Design from Syracuse University. After graduating, she started working in the commercial architectural field, which she found to be less challenging and creative than she had anticipated. BNP was her second job after college. She began by designing BNP's office space when the Connecticut office moved from Darien to Danbury, CT, and quickly transitioned into the Baggage Handling Systems (BHS) sector. She has spent the past 29 years at BNP.
She spent several years on-site at Detroit Metropolitan Airport (DTW) and Dulles International Airport (IAD) and later began managing multiple BHS projects. This includes the pre-9/11 Raytheon contract, which was responsible for deploying and installing Computed Tomography (CT) technology nationwide. After 9/11, she continued to work on domestic BHS projects, implementing inline screening solutions. Throughout her career, she has primarily worked in the terminals of the Port Authority of New York and New Jersey (PANY&NJ).
Michelle is particularly proud of the successful completion of two projects she managed at LaGuardia Airport (LGA) and Newark Liberty International Airport (EWR). Both projects were constructed during the COVID-19 pandemic, presenting numerous challenges that required extensive communication and coordination to ensure a successful opening day.
Her management style emphasizes encouraging team members to roll up their sleeves and find solutions. She believes that playing the "blame game" serves no purpose. The key to a successful project is teamwork, with everyone contributing their efforts.

The opportunity to deliver projects from initial sketches to full operations provides a unique engineering experience.
Chris believes that airport baggage handling systems are essentially an airport's circulatory system, and we at BNP get to decide how they are configured, built, and future-proofed—how cool is that?! Chris is passionate about BNP's projects and the unique nature of the industry, and his goal is to ensure that his team develops and embraces the same enthusiasm. He believes that collaboration is essential, and all ideas are welcome and celebrated.
At work, Chris is motivated by (in no particular order) coffee, the people, cool projects, and the opportunities BNP provides its staff!
